Robert Wayne Worman was born October 26, 1940 to CJ Worman and Delilah Rhoades Worman, in Evansville, IN. He attended elementary and high school there. He graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in education in 1962. He later received his Master's degree from Western Illinois University. He married Judith A. Smith on May 26th, 1963. She survives as well as his two daughters, Emma L. McKinnon and S. Kate Becker (Chris W. Becker) of Petersburg, IL, granddaughter Jaime McKinnon-Curry, of Springfield, MO. and one sister, Barbara (Darryl) Brown of Evansville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Dee Hood, Jim Worman, Juanita Braemer, and grandson Clay Becker.
Bob taught school in the Abingdon, IL district, along side his wife, from 1962 - 1995. He was a dedicated high school teacher of English and composition. He also spent summers working in carpentry and farming.
