Ronny Jo Kipling, 86, of Marietta, Illinois passed away at his residence on Thursday February 27, 2025. He was born December 9, 1938 in Macomb, IL to Lester and Vanita (Holt) Kipling, He married Jane Kinser and they shared three boys together. He later married Therese Carlson and she preceded him in death on January 14, 2019.
Surviving are his three boys, Randy Kipling of Crittenden, KY; Dan (Kimberly) Kipling of Marietta, IL; Jeff Kipling of Marrietta, IL; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah Kipling; Zach (Kate) Kipling, Brooke (Chance) Burkle, McKenzi Kipling, Adam (Kara) Bockenstedt, Allyson (Nate) Womble, 10 great grandchildren, and one sister Sherry Feld of Colchester, IL.
Ronny Jo was a standout baseball and basketball player at the Colchester High School. After high school, he was recruited by the St. Louis Cardinals AAA Baseball Farm Team in West Virginia. He was a member of Local 231 of Pekin, IL for over 20 years while owning and managing a farm for over 50 years. Ronny
