Charles S. Lambert, 90, of Macomb, Illinois passed away at 11:03 AM Friday Feb. 14, 2025 at the Macomb Acute Care Center in Macomb, Illinois.
He was born April 9, 1934 in Macomb, Illinois to Ernest and Eva (Sprague) Lambert; he married Iola Kepler on December 24, 1952. She preceded him in death on Feb. 23, 2013.
He was also preceded in death by sons, Richard and James Lambert.
Surviving are his children, Alan, Larry, and Chriss Lambert all of Macomb, Illinois; Char of Bardolph, Illinois and Jo Duffield of Quincy, Illinois; 1 brother; 1 sister; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was one of the first Members of Macomb Wards Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.
He worked for Macomb School District for several years.
His passions in life included Fishing, Family, Chicago Cubs and watching football.
Cremation has been accorded.
Graveside services will be in Blackburn Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
