Thomas P. Hinton, 72, of Colchester, Illinois, passed away at 10:29 PM Sunday Aug 18, 2024, surrounded by family and friends at his residence.
He was born June 19, 1952, in Galesburg, Illinois to Guy and Merle Elizabeth "Betty" (Warden) Hinton; he married Mary "Jane" Adams on Sept. 29, 2002. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2024.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Hinton of Macomb, IL; Michael (Cari) Hinton of Castle Rock, CO; Janel (Justin) Gruber of Denver, CO: Michelle (Troy) Martin of Fowler, IL; Jerry (Tiffany) Shepler Jr. of Bowen, IL; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Stacey) Hinton of Walnut Creek, CA; sisters, Mary Hinton of Aurora, CO; Sharon (John) Farris of Glendale Heights, IL; Kathy (Joe) Gawlikowski of Aurora, CO; Barb (Wayne) Gibb of Elizabeth, CO; Rosie (Andy) Comet of Aurora, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
