Brett David Lovell, 52, of Avon IL, passed away on August 1, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Galesburg, IL on December 17, 1971, to Janet (Salisbury). In 1976, he was adopted by his father, Clair B. Lovell.
Surviving is his mother Janet (Gene)Trout of Burlington, IA, daughter, Ivy Sarah Lovell of Galesburg, IL, three siblings, Olivia (Roberts)Watkins of Lawnside, NJ, Kayla Roberts of Burlington, IA, Matthew (Kourtney) Trout of Pella, IA; six step- siblings, Phil Lovell, Mary Catherine Brown, Cathleen (Lovell) Baucom, Caroline Lovell, Missy (Noel)Danforth, and Jason Trout. One Aunt, Luan (Greg)Olson, of Sycamore, IL, three cousins, Angela (David) Foulk, Katherine (Cody)Salter, John (Anna) Olson, several nieces and nephews. A very special part of Brett's heart was held by his longtime best friend, Kevin Winking, of Monmouth, IL.
Brett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Lenore Salisbury, step-grandparents, William and Theda Trout, paternal grandparents
