Leslie Eugene Morgan, 84, of Macomb died at 1:45 p.m. Friday, July 12th, 2024, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 9th, 1939, in Mexico, MO to Ralph Leslie and Dorothy Morgan. He first married Judith Champion.
He is survived by his wife Annette, whom he married December 27, 1982. They have three daughters: Sherri Morgan, Andover, IL, Sandy and Sonya Morgan, Columbia, IL, two sons: Gunthar (Nicole) Weaver, Colchester, IL, Travis (Shannon) Weaver, Colchester, IL, seven grandchildren, Cadence(Trenton), Katarina (Jordan), Halle (Qumaron), Zaya (Dyllon), Levi, Chelsea ( Nathaniel), and Brandon and five great grandchildren: Gwenyth, Claire, Harrison, Emma, and Wyatt.
He is also survived by his brother Donald Morgan of Ashland City, TN and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Dorothy Morgan and two brothers Carlyle Morgan and Robert Nye.
He joined the Navy in 1956 and was on the USS Cassin Young and USS Fisk, serving 6 years as a boiler tender
