Carolyn Lane Higgins Raymond age 86 of Macomb, Illinois. She passed away on July 6, 2024 at
home in Macomb, Illinois. She was born August 30, 1937 in Labelle, Missouri to Errsie and Gladys
(Weidner) Baltzelle. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother G W Baltzelle of
Missouri.
She married Joseph Higgins (deceased) and had one daughter Bobbi Polite (deceased) from
that union. Adding a special gift of a daughter Casey (Scott) Ketchum. She married Donald Raymond in
1994, along with adding from his previous marriage, one daughter Diana (Jay) Zimmerman, two sons
Gary Raymond and Chad (Roberta) Raymond.
She graduated from Labella Missouri High School in 1955 and attended Quincy Beauty Academy
in Quincy, Illinois. She moved to Macomb, Illinois in the late 1950's to work at the Band Box Beauty
Salon. She worked at Haeger Potteries for many years and retired in 2000.
