Harris E. Lafary, 93, of Bushnell, IL passed away on Saturday June 22, 2024 at Courtyard Estates in Bushnell. He was born on May 9, 1931 in Table Grove, IL to Everett and Laura (Cadwalader) Lafary. He married Patricia Roley on August 7, 1949 in Bushnell; she preceded him in death on January 31, 2018.
Surviving are his children Vicki Reimolds and Rick (Shirley) Lafary both Bushnell, IL, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Harris was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Harley Lafary, son-in-law Randy Reimolds, and grandson Chad Lafary.
Harris was happiest when attending car races, especially winged sprints. Attending the Bushnell fall festival's car shows, tractor pulls, and tractor shows were of upmost interest to him. He was an avid collector of John Deere and Coca-Cola memorabilia, as well as baseball caps of various businesses. Harris loved a good practical joke and had the most infectious smile.
